Brief

Float, a local tech start-up, needed a brand identity and advertising campaign to attract new clients and secure funding from investors.

Insight

The software automatically predicts cashflow up to two years in advance, making traditional methods of forecasting cashflow totally obsolete.

Branding

When Float first came to us they had a logo and a basic Wordpress. So, I developed their verbal identity, strapline, and elevator pitch. Then I put on my art director hat and set about developing their visual identity, too.

Print Ads

For the ad campaign, I positioned Float as a tool to help businesses predict the future better.

Results

By the end of the year, this small campaign had helped grow Float’s annual turnover from £90k to £360k. I’m super proud of this work because I did the copy and art direction, and it won a Bronze at the Marketing Society Star Awards.

Brucie Bonus

This was my fave ad of the series, but I cut it from the campaign because it didn’t fit with the ‘business predictions’ concept.
